Environmental Conservation

Photography and Awareness
Kat loves photography, which allows her to showcase the wildlife and ecosystems that need our protection. People tend to only care about things they can see, which makes photography incredibly important to spreading awareness and showing the need for conservation among different habitats.
Shark Conservation
While very passionate about marine conservation in general, Kat specifically loves advocating for shark conservation. She has experience as a shark and ray student research scientist with CMERA (Coastal Marine Education Research Academy), where she learned how to tag and research sharks and rays.
